One thing that I thought was really interesting in
the reading, was when it talked about how strengthening abs isn't necessarily the answer to relieving back pain. That's what I've been told for years...if you're having back problems, it's because you have weak abs. So we work on our abdominal strength. But, in the reading, it talks about how we have to be able to
release the back muscles to allow for a lengthening in the spine. By lengthening the spine, it can release pressure and pain in the back. Genius.
